How often should penetration tests be run?

The general rule is at least once a year and after every major infrastructure or application change. For organizations within KVKK and ISO 27001 scope, regular testing also reduces the risk of audit findings.

Can testing damage our systems?

Tests run within a pre-agreed scope and rules of engagement, using methods that do not put production systems at risk; destructive scenarios are attempted only with written approval and in a controlled environment.

What is the difference between UTM and separate security products?

UTM consolidates firewall, IPS, antivirus, VPN, content filtering and mail security into a single device/platform. Management and licensing costs drop and event correlation gets easier. At very large scale, separating the layers may be necessary — we settle the right architecture during discovery.

How is reporting done?

Findings are delivered in a report graded by impact and likelihood, with separate executive-summary and technical-detail sections. On request, a closing verification test confirms the effectiveness of the fixes.
